Booboo Paisley sculpt by Rachelle Lee Ferrell-Chelle

Paisley is the full body silicone sculpted by Rachelle Lee Ferrell-Chelle.

*She is a slight booboo baby due do a cosmetic patch on her back and side of her hand. These issues are purely superficial, and do not effect her durability.

Paisley measures 21" and wears newborn and some 0-3month size clothing.

She is a full body, anatomically correct little girl in a soft blend silicone. She has a more firm silicone in the core of her neck and head to give her a more realistic feel and a bit more durability. She can be easily posed and comfortably held with armatures in her arms. The way that her arms and legs are sculpted allow for the best possible flexibility with multiple realistic poses for both photographing and holding. Her head is floppy like a real newborn baby and must be supported when picked up. ***Recommended while dressing is to wrap hands and feel in plastic wrap while pulling them through sleeves or pants, then remove. You can also use plastic wrap under hats (avoid using hats, avoid leaving hats or headbands on for long). It is best to place plastic wrap under the head while dressing or moving the doll around. Do not leave plastic wrap touching the doll for long periods of time.

Paisley's painting has been done with several thin and carefully applied layers of silicone paints. I only use the absolute best quality materials available to bring my dolls to life so that with proper care they will become cherished heirloom pieces. I took extra care to paint her in a realistic newborn skin tone. The matting layer was meticulously applied using Silicone Velvet power so he has amazingly baby soft "skin" that wrinkles when squished.

Paisley's mouth was sculpted to be open to take a full size pacifier. She also has a tongue, top gums and a uvula that has been painted as well to be as realistic as possible. *Care must be taken with the mouth and must be treated VERY gently so as to not rip the corners of the mouth. Do not leave a pacifier in for extended periods of time.

Paisley's hair was micro-rooted with amazingly soft, fine, straight chocolate brown mohair. Her eyebrows are painted. ***The hair has been rooted deeply into the silicone, but silicone is solid and the hair cannot be sealed from the inside, so care must be taken to avoid excess pulling and friction. I push the hair as deeply into the silicone as possible. Mohair is a delicate natural fiber and can break with excess friction or from drying out, it can also become matted from excess friction especially when wet and even more so if wet with warm water. Bathing your doll should be avoided! And occasionally moisturizing the hair is recommended with the leave in conditioner provided or an organic, scent free, baby leave in conditioner. Lastly, the hair has been directionally rooted. This means each hair has been pushed into the silicone in the direction it is intended to lie for this style and the hair needs to be styled in the intended direction to avoid bending and breaking the hair at the root. Try to replicate the artist photos for styling your dolls hair.

Paisley will come home with a small box opening, including an outfit, blanket, mohair conditioner, brush and comb set, birth certificate, care sheet and some other items depending on what I have on hand. *Props not included.
